Miyuki Delica beads 11/0
Miyuki beads drops

Tools to use:

Miyuki nylon thread
a pearl needle

This jewel is not complicated to make. Follow the assembly in the video below to correctly fix the pearls on the edge of the creole.

The assembly:

To start, cut a piece of wire about 1 meter long. I prefer to take a little longer on this type of assembly because a connection right in the middle can turn out to be complex and boring!

Thread the thread through the eye of the needle.

Now we will start weaving the beads on the edge of the creole. For this we will use the double Brickstitch weaving technique because we will place 2 beads by 2 beads.

Thread 2 beads then pass the needle through the creole before passing it through the beads again. Naturally the beads are placed on the edge of the creole, the thread makes a loop around the creole. Keep a thread of about 15cm at the start.

Continue with this technique until you have 4 sets of bead pairs, then thread a needle onto the starting thread and go back through the beads in a zigzag pattern on the 4 bead pairs. Cut the thread flush.

Continue with this method until you have placed a total of 19 pairs of beads on the edge.

Once your beads are mounted, go back in a zigzag pattern through the previous beads to block the beads well then come out through the last 2 beads.

Now we can start assembling the fringes with the drop beads.

Thread 9 drop beads then go back through the 2 beads on the edge.

Then move on to the next one, insert the needle into the 2 beads next to it, thread 9 drop beads then pass through the 2 beads again.

Continue this way until you fill all the border beads with fringes.

For a nice result, do not tighten the fringes too much, they must remain flexible.

Once all the fringes are done, go back in a zigzag pattern through the beads on the edge on about 4 beads then make a discreet knot. Cut the thread flush with the beads.

Do the same for the other earring.

Your jewel is finished!

Beautiful creation!
