Sakura earrings

Symbol of beauty and life, we cannot resist this poetic jewel adorned with small Sakura flowers...

For this achievement you need:
acrylic flowers Miyuki 11/0 seed beads 2 closed rings 40mm copper wire a pair of sleeper earrings

Tools to use:
pliers for jewelry creations

Step 1:

To start, cut a piece of copper wire about 50cm long.

Be careful when working with copper wire to avoid do not use pliers or twist the wire.

Step 2:
Wrap one end of the wire around the ring. Make several turns to secure it, then cut off the excess wire flush.

Step 3:

Next, thread an acrylic flower then a seed bead and thread it back through the flower.

Hold the flower firmly against the ring before pulling the wire.

Wrap the wire around the ring and continue with the other flowers...

Tip: Don't worry if your first flowers aren't perfectly positioned. You can go over them with the wire to wedge them in and place new flowers in between. They will naturally fall into place as you go.

Step 4:

Once you have as many flowers as you want, turn the work over.

Continue with the wire, this time placing a seed bead at each pass.

This will dress the reverse side of the loop and give the impression small flower buds.

Once back at the starting point, wrap the wire around the ring a little and then cut the wire flush.

Step 5:

Finally, carefully open the ring located on the bottom of the sleeper and insert the ring. Close the loop correctly.

Tip: Always open a ring in a spiral, never outwards! On earrings, always open the ring to the minimum to pass your element, otherwise you risk breaking it.
