This piece of jewelry is not complicated to make. Follow the steps below carefully and proceed in the same order for easy assembly!

The assembly:

I will give you the instructions for a 40cm choker necklace, but feel free to adjust the size to your taste by lengthening either the chains or the row of pearls. In this case, consider taking 2 mother-of-pearl threads.

To begin, mount the 4mm round beads on flat head nails and form normal sized loops. The loop made should measure approximately 3mm in diameter for a nice discreet result.

Then mount 5 drop beads on flat head nails. Make loops of the same size as the previous ones.

Then cut a transparent nylon thread of about 30cm.

Here we will start from the center of the necklace and then mount the beads in symmetry. This method allows you to adjust the length and threading without having to remove everything if it does not suit you.

First thread a drop pearl in the center, on each side place a mother-of-pearl pearl.

Thread a 4mm bead on each side then another mother-of-pearl bead.

Continue in this way until you have placed all the drop and 4mm pearls alternating with the mother-of-pearl.

Finish the threading with the remaining mother-of-pearl beads in symmetry.

Now we are going to connect the pearl thread to the chains. Here I offer you a simple and easy version to connect a string of pearls to chains.

First, cut 2 pieces of chain of 10.5cm. Here for a necklace of 40cm. Adjust the length if necessary.

Thread a crimp bead onto the nylon thread, then pass the thread through the chain link.

Pass the wire back through the crimp bead and then, using flat pliers, bring the bead back to the edge of the chain link. Crush the bead with the flat pliers.

Cut off the excess wire at the edge of the bead.

For the other side, do as before, but before flattening the pearl, make sure to keep some flexibility in the string of pearls. Your necklace should remain fluid without stiffness between the pearls.
