The assembly: | ||||
To begin, mount the faceted Feldspar Moonstone beads on ball head nails. Form pretty, discreet loops around the edges of the beads. Now start threading the beads onto the brass wire. Cut a piece of brass wire about 25cm long. We will do the threading in symmetry. Thread the previous assembly, pearl on nail, on the brass wire. On each side place metal spinning top beads, 6mm bohemian beads and gold washers. Place 6mm beads again then faceted metal beads. Then thread 4mm bohemian beads, striated metal beads, 4mm beads and again striated gold metal beads. Finish with 3 3mm bohemian beads on each side. Look at the photo below to follow the assembly of the beads. Bring the brass wires together in a round bead and a faceted gold-plated metal bead. Tighten the wire well, you will obtain a bead assembly that naturally forms a drop. If necessary, reshape the drop so that it is harmonious, nice and round and not too elongated. With one of the 2 brass wires, form a loop. To do this, bend the wire at a right angle tightly at the edge of the metal bead, cut off the excess to keep about 1cm and form a simple loop using the round-nose pliers. Thread the earring backing into the loop created. Next, hold the pearl loop assembly securely in one hand and wrap the second brass wire around one turn between the gold pearl and the loop created. Cut the excess wire flush on the back of the earring. Flatten the cut of the brass wire with flat pliers. Finally, glue the cabochon into the support, taking care not to use too much glue. Repeat the steps for the other earring... Your jewel is finished! Beautiful creation! |
